Your Role

As a Tech Lead/Lead Developer, you will lead a brand new development team while also being hands-on in the development process. You will build modern web applications and supporting microservices. 

You will have a significant opportunity to influence the team's culture, working methods, and tool choices.

Your Responsibilities

Be active in the development work – from requirements to production-ready solutions. Coach and support developers to maximize the team's performance. Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient solutions in line with the business goals. Solve complex technical problems and ensure compliance with technical standards (code reviews, etc.). Plan and prioritize together with initiative management and product/project. Collaborate with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Act as a technical advisor/expert as needed. Work according to established processes/tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira).

    Qualifications (mandatory)

    At least 4 years in the role of software architect or tech lead in a larger agile organization (>4 development teams) within the last 10 years. Documented experience as a system developer or tech lead in at least two assignments. At least 4 years of system development in .NET. At least 4 years of server management and On-Prem environments. At least 5 years of developing microservices through event-driven design. At least 4 years with Kubernetes (container orchestration). At least 4 years according to DevOps principles: automated delivery pipelines/CI-CD, cloud service management, and close collaboration between development and operations from code to production. At least 4 years of testing and test automation.

    Preferred Experience

    Public sector with complex business/operational systems (1,000 users, high transaction density), at least 1 year. BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development), at least 2 years. DevOps tools: Terraform or Helm Charts, at least 4 years. Kubernetes Rancher, at least 1 year. Message queues/pub-sub: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or equivalent, at least 4 years (documented).

    Location

    On-site at the client in Kungsholmen, Stockholm. Possibility for some remote work as needed and by agreement.

    Timeline and Scope

    Start: 2025-09-15 End: 2026-12-31 Scope: 40 hours/week Extension option: 1 + 1 year according to existing terms.
