Customer Service with a Sales Focus

ABOUT THE POSITION
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Customer Service representative who will be an important part of an exciting pilot project and work both proactively and customer-focused. You will combine providing first-class service to both new and existing customers while reaching out to inactive customers to strengthen relationships and reduce customer churn.
The Customer Support department consists of two teams: Customer Service and Backoffice & Claims. Customer Service consists of eight employees who handle customer inquiries and offer professional responses, while Backoffice & Claims is responsible for customer administration and complaints. Together, they ensure a high-quality customer experience.
This is a consulting assignment via Academic Work that extends until 31/12-2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties
Your main tasks will be to make welcome calls to new customers to help them get started with their cards and inform them about additional services. You will also contact inactive customers to strengthen the relationship and reduce customer churn. The role also includes some handling of incoming calls.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has completed high school, preferably in economics
- Has good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
- Has experience in sales, after sales, or customer service
- Has good telephone skills
- Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work
It is an advantage if you have:
- Good knowledge in the fuel or related industry, such as the transport industry
- Basic knowledge of business economics
As a person, you are driven with a positive attitude and a forward-leaning approach. You have strong communication skills, which are crucial for effectively handling customer inquiries and building long-term relationships. You are solution-oriented and enjoy working both independently and in a team. To succeed in this role, you possess the following personal qualities:
