We are now looking for an experienced and dedicated Design Engineer in mechanics for an exciting assignment in the development of retarder and PTO systems. The assignment has a clear technical focus on design, assembly drawings, and complete technical documentation.

About the role

You will work in a dynamic and varied environment, where you are expected to contribute both technical expertise and creative problem-solving. The work is done in close collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires both flexibility and a practical approach.

Your main tasks:

• Solve complex design challenges with innovative and practical solutions
• Develop and refine concepts with a focus on performance and manufacturability
• Update and improve drawings and documentation according to applicable quality standards

We are looking for someone who has:

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Deep knowledge of CATIA V5 and ENOVIA
• Good understanding of development processes and tools, such as PD Process, FRAS, and ECO
• Ability to express yourself fluently in Swedish and English

At least three days of on-site presence per week in Södertälje, with the possibility of increased presence if needed.

Scope:

Full-time, hybrid solution with office presence at least 3 days/week. The assignment starts as soon as possible, and selection is ongoing. There are good opportunities for extension.
