Your responsibilities:

We are looking for a substitute for care services. The elderly care in Sorsele municipality consists of two special housing facilities focused on dementia, Åbacken and Utsikten. One special housing facility, Norrskenet, and a short-term accommodation, Vintergatan. The home care service in Sorsele municipality consists of four groups located in different parts of the municipality, two groups are in Sorsele community, one group in Ammarnäs, and one group in Gargnäs. As a substitute, you will be responsible together with your colleagues for meeting the individual needs of residents for good care.

This may involve providing practical and emotional support, creating good meal experiences, social activities, etc.

Working in special housing means a great deal of personal responsibility and initiative. We place great importance on approach, teamwork, flexibility, and accountability in our interactions with customers. The work also includes delegated health and medical tasks.

Your qualities:

You have a good approach and are easy to collaborate with. Clarity in your communication is important. We see that thinking positively and having the best interests of the elderly in focus is a prerequisite for you to thrive with us.

Competence/qualifications:

It is important to enjoy working both independently and in a group and to have a good ability to assess and handle varying situations. As a person, you are positive, creative, action-oriented, and solution-focused. We prefer that you are a nursing assistant, have experience working in healthcare, or have other healthcare education. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Experience in care and nursing is an advantage. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is required.

Duration/working hours:

The working hours are scheduled for days and evenings, including weekdays and weekends.

The positions are hourly substitutes. Selection is ongoing, and the positions may be filled before the application deadline.

Start date: By agreement.

Salary: The municipality applies individual salary setting.
