About the position:

The role of Maintenance Technician involves delivering high technical availability for the company's machinery through maintenance actions. Through targeted work, increase operational reliability, develop and quality assure the company's production and maintenance processes. By participating in improvement work, contribute to optimized resource utilization, improved production processes, increase the company's competitiveness, and continuously reduce operational and production costs. As a Maintenance Technician, agreements, policies, rules, and guidelines must be fulfilled in word and action.

Your responsibilities include:

• Responsible for ensuring that service and preventive maintenance of machines and installations within the facility are carried out according to the maintenance plan and reporting routine. 
• Responsible for performing corrective maintenance and documenting and reporting completed actions.
• Responsible for actively participating in your own improvement work and development of the maintenance operations.
• Responsible for working towards increased availability and productivity within the manufacturing sections in your daily work.
• Responsible for promptly reporting deviations to management and/or Quality and Testing and participating in investigations.
• Responsible for following safety and protection regulations.
• Well acquainted with and working in accordance with the company's policies, goals, and quality system.
• Process control and development of existing and new routines to achieve continuous improvement regarding quality, environment, and working conditions within your area of responsibility.

It is important that you drive your work forward in a purposeful, structured, and independent manner.

To fit the role, we would like you to have:

• Relevant work experience from a similar role as a maintenance technician 
• Previous experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
• Knowledge in forging is an advantage
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Knowledge/training is not a requirement but is an advantage:

• Hot work
• Forklift/travers training
• Experience in mechanical work 
• Driving license B

Other:

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months and is located in Uppsala.
