Night Nursing Assistant - Temporary Position until 1/11 2026 at Björnö Elderly Care Home

Now you have the chance to become an important part of our night team at Björnö Elderly Care Home in Norrtälje. We are looking for a nursing assistant who wants to contribute to the safety and well-being of our residents during the night hours.

About the position As a night nursing assistant at Björnö Elderly Care Home, you will play a central role in ensuring the safety and care of our residents during the night. This is a temporary position that extends until January 11, 2026. You will work in our modern facility that opened in 2021 and has 60 places divided into 40 dementia places and 20 somatic places. Working hours are scheduled from 20:50 to 07:10.

In the role of night nursing assistant, you will mainly work with:

• Care and supervision of residents during the night
• Perform delegated health and medical tasks such as medication, wound dressing, and sampling
• Document in our digital journal system
• Practical tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe environment

For this position, it is required that you:

• Are a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title or caregiver
• Have good computer skills as all documentation is done digitally
• Master Swedish well in both spoken and written form

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience working in elderly care
• Have knowledge of dementia diseases and mental health issues
• Have a B driver's license and access to a car
