Do you want to make a difference in someone else's daily life – and are you fluent in sign language? Then you might be the one we are looking for! Humana is currently seeking a personal assistant for an active and social young man living in his own apartment in Lund. The position is a part-time job with varying shifts, both weekdays and weekends.

About the client

Our client is a cheerful, curious, and outgoing young man who communicates fully in sign language. He leads an active life and participates in daily activities for most of the week.

In his free time, he enjoys socializing with other deaf individuals, going to the cinema and restaurants, swimming, playing games, and using the computer. He needs support in his daily life, including household chores, personal care, and some assistance with mobility, as he uses a wheelchair.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

Is fluent in sign language (TAKK is unfortunately not sufficient)

Can swim and is comfortable swimming with the client

Has experience in personal assistance, preferably with a focus on mobility impairments and transfers

Is flexible, reliable, attentive, organized, and has a good structure in your work

Working hours

Weekdays: 1:30 PM – 9:00 AM or 3:00 PM – 9:00 AM

Weekends: 24-hour shifts from 10:00 AM – 10:00 AM or 10:00 AM – 9:00 AM. Waiting time: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
