Everything begins in the forest – and it keeps starting over. Södra Skog works to purchase renewable forest raw materials from our over 50,000 members and deliver it to Södras various industries. We work closely with our members in their forestry, sharing their challenges and helping them create both increased climate benefits and higher profitability. Our work also includes the development of digital support and new forestry services.

For over 50 years, Södra has been working with plant production and has invested heavily to develop the best plant material for southern Swedish conditions. Now there is an opportunity to become part of Södra's nursery in Falkenberg as a Production Manager!

This is what you will work on at Södra

As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing production, work environment, and employees. Through a caring and coaching leadership style, you will build effective teams that contribute to job satisfaction and well-being. Your tasks will include:

- Tactical planning and management of cultivation/production as well as staffing planning and recruitment
- Identifying and leading projects and investments
- Budget responsibility
- Coordination and responsibility for safety and work environment efforts
- Driving improvements in close collaboration with process developers

You will have engaged and knowledgeable employees at the nursery to assist you, as well as close collaboration and exchange with your production manager colleagues in Falkenberg and at our other nursery in Flåboda.

The position is a permanent full-time position during the day, located in Falkenberg.

Who are we looking for?

You also have the ability to operate and lead in change and achieve results through inclusive leadership. Furthermore, it comes naturally to you to develop good and trusting relationships, to be curious, attentive, structured, but also flexible when situations require it.

In addition to the above, you have:

- Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Leadership experience
- Good language skills in Swedish and English
- B driver's license

If you have experience from the forestry industry or manufacturing, we consider it an advantage.
