Job responsibilities

As a traveling service technician, you will belong to a team of 40 traveling service technicians with support from in-house technicians and a group manager. In this role, you will work in the field and be the face of the company to the customer, where you will be responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations of TRUMPF technology in punching (https://www.trumpf.com/sv_SE/produkter/maskiner-system/stansmaskiner/) at the customer site. Your repair and service assignments are usually shorter tasks lasting a few days, and during installations, you will be involved in projects lasting between 2-7 weeks. You will work with mechanics, electronics, software installation, and system integration. You will work from home and stay overnight from Monday to Friday weekly in the field within your work area covering Sweden and Norway. Since this is a traveling position, you will be offered a company car, or alternatively a benefit car, as well as allowances and travel compensation.

Your introduction will begin with thorough training, both with a colleague in the field and with the company's introductory training in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland alongside technician colleagues from around the world. TRUMPF offers you long-term and ongoing technical skills development, and you will take on increasingly complex assignments independently through expanded responsibilities and training.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Completed high school education, preferably post-secondary education in a relevant field such as electrical, mechanical, or automation
• Experience in technical work related to repair, service, and maintenance, preferably on industrial machines
• Experience in interpreting electrical schematics
• Preferred if you have previously worked with punching machines, either as an operator or maintenance technician
• You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English
• Driver's license B
