IT Technician for Service Desk in Karlskrona

The IT department of Karlskrona municipality is seeking a new employee for the Service Desk. The Service Desk is Karlskrona municipality's internal IT support, and from the Service Desk, we provide support to all employees of Karlskrona municipality as well as to a municipal association. The IT platform we support is largely based on Microsoft's software and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT technician, you will work on resolving incidents/problems, requests, and orders related to systems and applications used by the municipality's employees. The Service Desk is divided into first and second line support, and you will alternate your work between these two support levels. The job includes continuous customer contact to effectively resolve incoming cases. As an employee in the Service Desk, you will alternate according to a schedule between both lines. We have a case management system where we register and manage all cases and actions according to routines and processes based on ITIL. We are a cheerful and wonderful team working to provide the best service to our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

We want you to have a university degree or other suitable post-secondary education and documented good knowledge of the Microsoft environment and its technical platform. You should have a broad competence in IT and enjoy solving incidents/problems while being service-oriented with the customer in focus. We want you to have good knowledge of MS365 and various Office applications, especially Teams. You must have a good command of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

A valid driver's license (B) is required for this position.
