We are looking for an experienced project manager for an infrastructure-related construction project in airborne transmission with a key player responsible for Sweden's societal functions.

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for leading a main project focused on delivery, quality, and economy, as well as coaching and supporting the involved project managers. The role requires a proactive leadership style where you ensure that the project team and resources work in line with set goals and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for coordinating and following up on the projects included in the main project, ensuring that they are carried out according to established plans. You will report regularly to the program manager and work closely with other main project managers, program controllers, and program managers in an operational team that drives the daily work forward.

Your tasks will include:

• Coaching and supporting project managers as needed in their execution.
• Exercising good leadership and contributing to an effective and collaborative team climate.
• Reporting project status, timelines, risks, and progress in a structured manner.
• Quality assuring and following up that projects are conducted in accordance with applicable processes, routines, and decisions.
• Coordinating and disseminating important information within the main project and in relation to other nearby projects.
• Supporting the program manager by taking responsibility for delegated tasks within the framework of the operational work.

This assignment is suitable for you who have a solid background in project management of technical or socially important projects and who thrive in a central and coordinating role with both strategic and operational responsibilities.

Requirements

• The consultant must have at least 10 years of experience working with extensive construction projects, where the projects have had a budget of over 500 million SEK and a duration of over five years.
• The consultant must have completed ESA training. A valid course certificate must be attached to the bid. Alternatively, the training must be completed no later than two months after the assignment's start date.
• The consultant must have completed Bas-P and Bas-U training within the last three years. Course certificates must be attached to the bid and must not be older than three years from the last bidding date. Alternatively, the training must be completed no later than two months after the assignment starts.
• The consultant must have undergone training in contract law, for example, within the regulations AB 04, ABT 06, or AMA.
• The consultant must hold a civil engineering degree or have documented equivalent competence through more than 10 years of relevant work experience.

Meritorious

• It is meritorious if the consultant has completed a project management training or holds a certification, such as IPMA (at least level B), PMP, or equivalent.
• It is desirable that the consultant has at least five years of experience working in the public sector.
• The consultant should have experience leading and executing larger projects from start to finish, including initial planning phases, execution, and final handover, with a budget exceeding 1 billion SEK and a project duration of over five years.
