About the position:
As a property caretaker, you will be an important part of our area team – a group that works closely together to ensure that everyday life runs smoothly for our tenants. You will be outside in the yard, fixing things in the laundry room, talking to residents about waste management, and taking care of both big and small tasks. This role is for you who enjoy collaborating, taking responsibility, and contributing to creating a pleasant and well-maintained environment where our tenants truly thrive.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Maintenance and upkeep of external and internal common areas
- Cleaning of stairwells and common spaces
- Care of green areas and machine maintenance
- Waste management
- Snow removal, both manual shoveling and machine plowing
- Performing minor repair tasks
- Participating in snow preparedness during the season according to applicable agreements
- Participating in and leading tenant meetings and tenant introductions
Requirements for the position:
- B driver's license with manual transmission
- Documented experience in the main tasks
- Experience in operating machines such as tractors, ride-on lawn mowers, and other smaller machines
- It is an advantage if you have experience in planting and knowledge of green area maintenance
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has worked in property maintenance and is familiar with tasks such as cleaning, care of green areas, and other property services. Additionally, we see that you have experience operating machines and have the right training, such as a wheel loader license.
You have probably had a similar job before and feel comfortable handling various types of tasks that may arise. You thrive in a daily routine that offers change and enjoy developing in your role. You are meticulous, take responsibility, and enjoy providing good service. Creating a pleasant and well-maintained environment for the tenants is something you are truly passionate about.
