JOB DESCRIPTION

Lekstorps School is a K-9 school located in the picturesque Gråbo and currently has about 410 students. The school consists of 7 buildings divided into different stages.

Are you a person who wants a very varied and changing assignment? Then the position of custodian at Lekstorps School is for you! If you are inspired by variety and having many different balls in the air; both technical, systematic, and practical, then this is a job for you. If you are good at systematically following up on your work, systematic fire safety, IT systems for example for purchasing, planning logistics for both students and inventory, can lift heavy items and assemble shelves, and are good at meeting people, then you are perfectly suited for this job!

Examples of tasks that may be included are systematic fire safety work, various practical tasks such as ongoing maintenance of materials & school environments, purchasing via digital systems, systematization and review of inventory, rental of premises, maintenance and updating of all technical equipment in the school, operational responsibility for locks and alarms, as well as collaboration with other actors within the municipality, such as the Recreation Unit and the Property Unit. The tasks will often change based on the varying needs of the operations and the different phases of the school year.

QUALIFICATIONS

To apply for this position, you must have a high school diploma. Post-secondary education in property management or similar, or education in purchasing or administration is advantageous. You are a cheerful and positive person who sees opportunities and solutions in most situations. You are stress-resistant and creative when quick actions and decisions are required. You enjoy collaborating with different people of varying ages and are passionate about providing good service within the framework of your assignment. It is advantageous if you have previously worked with or around young people.

The position may be filled based on necessary decisions being made.
