About Apoteket Svanen

Apoteket Svanen is the only pharmacy in the area and an obvious part of the community. We have a strong and loyal customer base with many regular customers, nursing homes, and close collaboration with the healthcare center next door. Our pharmacy is well-functioning and appreciated, and we now see the opportunity to take it to the next level.

Your role

We are looking for someone who, with commitment, business drive, and a strong customer focus, wants to lead and further develop the operations as Pharmacy Manager. You will have the opportunity to work closely with both customers and employees while driving sales and development forward. Here, you will have the space to implement your leadership skills and make a real difference – for both the team and the community. You will be responsible for the operation and management of the Svanen pharmacy in the Västra Götaland-Jönköping region. The region currently consists of 21 pharmacies. Apoteket Svanen is a medium-sized pharmacy with six employees.  What you will do with us:

• Drive the pharmacy's sales within the framework of Apoteket guidelines and achieve set profitability and operational goals, including sustainability goals
• Take an active leadership role for employees and create good conditions for them to reach your set goals 
• Based on given goals, create a budget and forecast for the pharmacy and follow up on outcomes against these
• Ensure efficient operations and ensure good accessibility such as opening hours, inventory, and waiting times
• In collaboration with the Regional Manager, set financial and operational goals, communicate deviations, and proactively suggest measures

To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have clear and engaging leadership, as well as a genuine interest in developing both people and the business.

• At least 3 years of experience from retail or pharmacy
• Post-secondary education in, for example, leadership, sales, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in sales with a focus on good customer service, personnel & budget responsibility.

It is advantageous if you are a trained pharmacist or pharmacy technician with experience from the pharmacy industry.
