Personal Assistant Needed for Boy with Significant Care Needs

We are currently looking for assistants for a 3-year-old boy diagnosed with metachromatic leukodystrophy. He is bedridden and has significant care needs.

He lives with his mother, father, and siblings in a house in the countryside, 1.5 miles from Västerås, so a driver's license is required.

About the Role

You will only be in the home, sometimes going for walks with a stroller. You should be empathetic and able to provide a meaningful daily life. Your presence will be an important part of his security and joy in everyday life. You must have experience with young children.

You are engaged, attentive, responsible, and must be able to handle stress. • You are smoke-free!
• You can express yourself fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You should be able to go out in all weather. You should not be dependent on your mobile phone, as the job is sedentary and the phone should not come out as soon as you feel a bit bored.

Experience in personal assistance or similar work is a plus, but the most important thing is that you are engaged and confident in your role.

Employment Rate: Part-time, working hours are scheduled from 7 AM to 5:30 PM two weekdays and one Saturday a month.

Salary: The hourly wage is fixed according to agreement, and other compensations are according to collective agreements.

Start Date: According to agreement, lasting as long as the assistance assignment continues.
