Care Leader for Intensive Care CIVA and NIVA

We are in an expansive phase and are now looking for more care leaders for intensive care CIVA and NIVA.

About the position

You will be employed as an intensive care nurse under the 24/7 agreement. You will be part of a group of just over 20 care leaders who alternate in leading care around the clock. You report directly to the nursing manager.

As a care leader, you are responsible for organizing, planning, and leading the daily work together with nursing managers. Together with the responsible physician, you coordinate patient flow, allocate resources and competence based on care load. As a care leader, you work for a good working environment and collaboration between employees within and outside the unit.

You are expected to be a role model in accordance with the hospital's values; responsibility, humanity, and holistic view.

We are looking for someone who

  • has good leadership qualities, can take responsibility for your task, and shows commitment to your work. You ensure that routines and safety standards are followed closely to maintain high quality in patient care
  • is secure, stable, and has good self-awareness. You remain calm and controlled even in pressured situations, which is crucial for providing the best possible care to critically ill patients
  • can easily adapt to changing circumstances and quickly adjust your approach according to patients' needs. Your flexibility is important to manage the dynamic environment in the intensive care unit
  • works well with others and can listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You contribute to a positive work climate where collaboration is central to providing the best possible care
  • is guided by ethics and values in critical situations at work. You meet patients and relatives with respect and empathy, especially when they are in crisis and need support
  • has experience and knowledge in intensive care, which allows you to support and coach colleagues in clinical work.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed nurse with specialized education in intensive care
  • At least five years of experience as an intensive care nurse

Meritorious:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role

Function Perioperative Medicine and Intensive Care

The Function of Perioperative Medicine and Intensive Care is the hospital's collective resource for anesthesia, surgery, pre- and post-operative care, and intensive care for adults. We are also responsible for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO), highly specialized pain care, and the sterile technical units.
