We are looking for a Shipping & Freight Lead who wants to help create the best assortment for our customers together with the rest of the team!

About the role;

As the Shipping & Freight Lead, you will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and developing our entire shipping and delivery area. You are the one who sees connections in numbers, thinks strategically, and enjoys dialogue with carriers and colleagues. The role is both analytical and business-oriented – you will negotiate contracts, monitor key performance indicators, and initiate improvements that affect the company's overall profitability.

Your main responsibilities will include... 

• Developing and optimizing our delivery flows in close dialogue with Supply Chain, purchasing, and external partners.
• Analyzing shipping costs and identifying opportunities for savings and efficiencies.
• Negotiating shipping contracts and ensuring the best possible terms.
• Ensuring that carrier flows comply with agreements, function efficiently, and create high customer satisfaction.
• Measuring and monitoring key performance indicators such as delivery accuracy, fill rate, and shipping cost per item.
• Driving improvement work related to transport damages, customs handling, and complaints.
• Building and maintaining training materials and routines within the shipping area.

This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible by agreement. The location is at our lovely headquarters in Kalmar.
