Doing things the usual way has never really been our thing. With our FABship stores, we have already redefined what retail is and can be, offering a completely different experience than 'regular retail'. But settling for that is not really our thing either!
Now it's time for something completely new again – we are opening Lyko in Kalmar! A brand new Beauty Playground, built from the ground up and packed with beauty joy, experience zones, fragrance walls, makeup heaven & a product range that will leave even the most seasoned beauty junkie in awe! For Kalmar, this is not just a new store, it's the beginning of a whole new Lyko world.

Sales Associate at Lyko?
At Lyko, there are no ordinary stores. Our store, or Beauty Playground, is not just meant to look good – it should be used! We love when curling irons break after many test runs, because it means our visitors are feeling, squeezing, trying, and experiencing for real. Just as it should be! We know that this builds engagement and that’s why our visitors keep coming back.
Of course, we think our online store kicks *ss, but it is in our physical stores that we really make a difference. That’s where we meet our visitors AND that’s where the magic happens. In the interaction, you as a sales associate can turn someone’s day around in just a few seconds. A visitor comes in, maybe a little tired after the day – and leaves with a pink bag filled with confidence, glow, and the feeling of being seen. Exactly how we want it to feel! WOW!
What you will focus on
Together, we constantly strive to give our visitors a world-class experience, and in that work, you as a sales associate are on the front line. As a sales associate at Lyko, you are much more than “just” a sales associate; you are an advisor, inspirer, best beauty buddy, and an important part of the visitor's experience. For us, it’s about meeting every visitor for real. You make contact, listen, and share your knowledge in a personal way, always aiming to help visitors find the right product for their needs. That’s how we create that magical feeling of being both seen and boosted ✨ Taking care of our visitors is always priority one, two, and three, but besides that, you ensure that they are always greeted by a fresh, well-stocked, and inspiring store – spotless, simply put!
For this role, we believe that you:
- Love beauty! Sharing knowledge and ideas with customers and colleagues is the most fun you know
- Are a passionate seller who loves customer interaction and is driven to achieve results. For higher contracts, previous experience as a sales associate will be required
- Are an unpretentious and engaged energy spreader
- Are flexible and enjoy working in teams as well as independently
- Are used to handling many different tasks in your daily work and have a structured approach
- Have relevant education in makeup or skin care – for example, as a makeup artist or skin therapist
- Are at least 18 years old
Start date: End of March to prepare for the opening at the end of April, but the right person is worth waiting for if you are not available immediately.
Employment type: Permanent position
Scope: Various contracts from 5 to 30 hours a week – in your application, you will have the opportunity to choose which scope you are interested in
Salary: According to collective agreement
Working hours: You will work varied hours during the store's opening hours
