Linjemontage is a modern company in the electrical power industry that performs contracting work in the field of power supply facilities from 0.4 kV to 400 kV. This can range from complex deliveries of complete transformer stations, deliveries of power lines to the replacement of parts of systems such as remote control, relay protection, etc. Our customers include network owners, industries, and municipal and state authorities. Linjemontage has offices and operations throughout Sweden as well as in Norway and a branch in Croatia. We have over 370 employees. Since 2019, Linjemontage has been part of Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.

We are now recruiting a Project Manager and Bid Manager for substation facilities 0.4 - 400 kV based in Mölndal.

Job Responsibilities We work project-oriented, and both customers and suppliers are on an international market, but our customers are mainly in Sweden. We deliver transformer stations to power companies and network companies with voltages up to 400 kV. The projects are usually total contracts where we are responsible for construction, land, building, assembly, and commissioning to a completed facility. We work closely together in the projects and normally use our own resources in all functional areas. The position includes both the role of project manager and bid manager, with the emphasis between the roles varying depending on the need and also on your background.

As a project manager, you have technical as well as financial responsibility for the delivery projects you manage. You are responsible for project coordination, control, planning, purchasing, and reporting to ensure the projects are carried out in terms of quality, time, and budget. You also have responsibility for the work environment and normally act as BAS-P in our projects.

As a bid manager, you drive and are responsible for customer and supplier contacts as well as calculation and bid submission. You are responsible for ensuring our bids are competitive and that the customer chooses us based on the most advantageous bid.

Education and Experience You have a university degree or equivalent and/or several years of experience in the field. We expect you to have good computer skills.

In your working style, you are engaged, meticulous, structured, and enjoy working in a team. You are results-oriented and possess good leadership qualities.

The position requires you to have a driving license with at least B category.

We operate throughout Sweden, which may mean that you will need to travel a bit during the weeks.

We need to strengthen several of our offices to handle the green transition. Primarily Mölndal but also in Karlstad, Västerås, or Luleå.
