We are looking for a nurse to join our team at Berglunda HVB! The position is full-time 100% and your working hours are scheduled on weekdays during the day.We offer ongoing methodological training and several benefits.

About Berglunda 

Berglunda is a residential care facility in Eksjö that accommodates adults aged 20 and above with various mental disabilities and harmful use and dependence. Berglunda is currently undergoing a major transformation where we are developing our working methods and approaches to meet the target group, and as a nurse, you will play a key role in this development. 

About the role As a nurse at Berglunda HVB, you will have the opportunity to participate in developing new working methods to meet a complex target group. You are expected to be curious and interested in development and improvement work, as well as driven to increase quality in your interactions with our target group. As a nurse, you will be part of the local management team, which, in addition to two nurses, consists of a psychologist, CBT therapist, operations manager, unit manager, and group leader. You will also be involved in driving the operations forward based on existing legislation and evidence, guidelines, and set goals and routines.

In the role of nurse, you are responsible for the healthcare work in our operations. This means that you work with and care for our clients' physical and mental well-being, establish care plans, manage medications, and perform other standard nursing tasks. In your role as a nurse, you will also be part of the team surrounding each client, which includes a psychologist, therapist, doctor, and treatment staff.

We actively work to change the perception of mental disabilities by always starting from individual needs and wishes. As a nurse, you play an important role in this work. Our goal is to help provide each person with the individual tools and strategies they need to live a meaningful life.

Your experience and knowledge You are a licensed nurse with knowledge of and a strong interest in individuals with psychiatric issues. Often, comorbidity with harmful use and dependence is present in the clients' health picture. We consider it an advantage if you have further education in psychiatry and/or experience in similar work. About youYou see opportunities, have a positive outlook, and a strong commitment to people. The work requires you to be responsible and have personal maturity. You share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues and see it as natural to contribute to a positive work environment. Additionally, you have good computer skills and proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
