Service Works Global (SWG) delivers innovative property systems to both the public and private sectors, from regions and municipalities to large property owners. Faciliate is one of the company's main products and serves as a customer portal and central platform for property management. Among SWG's clients are the majority of Sweden's regions, responsible for purpose-built properties such as hospitals and health centers, managers of universities and colleges, as well as a large number of municipalities and public housing companies.

About the Position

In the role at SWG, you will work with installation, configuration, updates, and technical troubleshooting of their property system Faciliate. The work is mainly done via remote connection to customers' environments, where the systems run in locked IT environments. The role includes both working with new customer installations and further developing and maintaining existing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of property systems in customers' server environments
• Configuration and setup of databases
• Troubleshooting at a technical level, in configuration files, databases, and API calls
• Upgrades and patching of systems
• Dialogue with customers' IT departments during installations and technical inquiries
• Collaboration with internal developers and support functions

You will work closely with an experienced technician who is currently responsible for the area, and during the onboarding period, you will learn both their systems and working methods.

The team in Eskilstuna consists of technicians, developers, and support, giving you the opportunity to quickly get help and build knowledge. You will join a competent and helpful team where they work together to create stable technical solutions for customers.

Qualifications and Attributes

We are looking for someone who is curious, technically interested, and not afraid to ask for help or take initiative. You enjoy working in a team but can also work independently. It is an open and unpretentious culture where colleagues are happy to help each other, even if they are sometimes busy.

Additionally, we hope you have:

• Worked for at least two years as an IT technician or equivalent
• Experience with MS SQL Server and T-SQL
• Familiarity with working in a Windows Server environment
• Basic knowledge of Linux 
• Experience with remote connections and VPN
• Good Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Experience interpreting code or working closely with development
• Experience with REST APIs
• Experience with IIS and system administration
• Experience with property systems
• Experience with data analysis
