About the role The team consists of employees with broad expertise who together support the research and development organization (R&D) by configuring and troubleshooting tools and RF environments. The purpose is to facilitate the development of mobile networks within R&D.

Within the team, there is close collaboration where members support each other, while each member has their own area of expertise and responsibility. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver RF solutions and drive improvement work, with the goal of ensuring that services meet both cost and time efficiency requirements.

Examples of tasks:

• Verification of node configuration from a cell and frequency planning perspective
• Verification of RF connections in test setups
• Creation of cell and frequency plans for test setups
• Testing of passive RF components and conducting EMF measurements in a timely manner
• Technical documentation related to test setups and coordination with the CFT team
• Providing CCN functionality and training for testers
• RF interference analysis and troubleshooting
• Providing RF-related suggestions for improvements of test setups

About you We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology who enjoys collaborating with others while also having the ability to work independently. You are curious about telecommunications and IT and see your future career in the field. We prefer that you have an engineering background and 2–4 years of experience working with RF products and network management. You have a good understanding of IT and testing environments, with a particular focus on hardware, network architecture, and radio testing.

To thrive in the role, we hope you have experience and knowledge of:

• RF integration: Configuration, validation, and integration of RF products in various network environments, as well as configuring test equipment, e.g., handover testing
• Software management: Licensing, upgrades, and backup procedures
• Incident management, i.e., handling support cases
• RF leakage, RF interference analysis, and technologies (e.g., 2G/3G/LTE/NR), as well as experience in PCI planning/frequency planning and Shell scripting with Moshells
• Test equipment, i.e., experience with network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, as well as expertise in RF coax systems, RF link budget calculations, and measurements
