We are looking for a Work Environment Engineer to join our team at Björkdalsgruvan

In this role, you will be an important resource to drive and develop the company's work environment efforts together with our HSE manager. You will have overall responsibility for all matters related to work environment and safety, and you will be a key person in creating a safe and secure work environment for our employees.

Responsibilities:

• Regularly report to the HSE manager and assist with specialist expertise in work environment and safety.
• Develop and implement orientation programs for new employees and plan and organize training in work environment.
• Drive and develop the preventive systematic safety and work environment efforts, participate in safety rounds, risk analyses, work environment reporting, and safety meetings as needed.
• Be responsible for follow-up and investigations in our GRIA system (reporting system for risk observations, incidents, and accidents) together with the HSE department.
• Lead and participate in risk assessments related to work environment, health, and safety.
• Identify risks and drive improvement efforts to reduce risks and create a safer workplace.
• Coordinate statutory measurements and surveys of the work environment to meet both internal and external requirements.
• Be responsible for contact with authorities and be part of Gramko's working group for Technology in Sweden.
• Perform and update routines and descriptions related to work environment and safety. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Björkdalsgruvan's own rules.
• Participate in or lead projects within the work environment area.

Qualifications:

Work environment engineer education or other relevant education in work environment, with extensive experience in work environment efforts. Experience from mining operations is an advantage. Good knowledge of systematic work environment efforts. Proficient in Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. A valid driver's license (B) is required.
