Job Opportunity as Arrestant Guard at Securus

We are looking for individuals who want to work as guards/arrestant guards in Umeå. The position involves working as an arrestant guard and, together with your colleagues, managing the operation of the detention center and, when necessary, monitoring temporary facilities that arise in cases of suspected crimes. The position is a permanent position with an initial 6-month probationary period. We need staff who can work on an on-call basis. We are looking for individuals who are available to work when needed. The detention center is staffed by Securus personnel in the evenings, nights, and weekends. At other times, the detention center is staffed by the authorities' personnel. As we are responsible for staffing several detention centers in Sweden, there is the opportunity for those who are willing to travel to also work temporarily in locations other than their primary place of work.

Qualifications for the Position

We are looking for individuals who are guards. Since Securus is a security-classified company that largely works with public authorities, a security check with a registry review is conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

The position requires Swedish citizenship and fluent proficiency in Swedish both verbally and in writing. The position occasionally involves accessing and conveying necessary information regarding the authorities' handling of detained individuals. You also need to be able to speak and understand English.

It is advantageous if you are trained as an arrestant guard and have experience working in a detention center or similar facility.
