We are now looking for Parking Attendants for our office in Umeå

About the roleAs a parking attendant with us, you have an important function and are offered a varied and enjoyable job with great freedom under your own responsibility. The work involves parking surveillance within an assigned area (land). By being present in the field with a monitoring car and on foot, you provide the service and assistance needed to ensure that parking rules are followed. Together, we ensure high well-being and good accessibility. The work offers a lot of variety, great freedom, and an important responsibility.

For example, you will:

• Monitor your work area by car and on foot.
• Check that parking rules are followed.
• Ensure that correct and clear signage is in place within the area.
• Issue penalty charges when necessary.
• Assist our customers on-site with parking-related questions.
• Assist our customers on-site with questions regarding our digital services.

The position is a full-time permanent position with access by agreement. The hours vary according to schedule and evening and weekend work occurs. We apply a 6-month probationary period, and our parking attendants operate from our office in Umeå.

About you

To be suitable for the position, you have a positive attitude, social skills, and act judiciously. You have a systematic and thorough approach with an eye for detail, taking responsibility comes naturally to you – you are simply an honest, helpful, and vigilant person who makes people around you feel safe.

Requirements for the position:

• Hold a B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written
• High school diploma
• Previous experience in a service profession

Meritorious:

• Previous experience as a parking attendant
• Previous experience in surveillance
