Job Responsibilities

As a substitute nurse/district nurse within health and medical care, you will be responsible for our overall health and medical care work, in close collaboration with nursing assistants, caregivers, rehabilitation staff, managers, and others. Your tasks include specific nursing care, medical interventions, prescriptions, delegations, preventive measures, and documentation. Additionally, it may also involve mentoring other nursing staff. An important part of this is to promote and ensure that nursing work is conducted in a salutogenic and preventive manner.

Qualifications

To be considered as a substitute, you need to be a licensed nurse or district nurse. If you also have specialized training in elderly care, it is an advantage. Previous experience as a nurse or district nurse, particularly within municipal elderly care, is desirable. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Experience with the documentation system Viva is an advantage. A driver's license for a passenger car (B license) is a requirement if you are applying for a position as a district nurse.

Berg Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality, and we therefore see it as an advantage if you have knowledge of the South Sámi language and culture.
