We are looking for a nurse for our central operation

We are looking for you who want to help further develop our central operation together with us and our four unit managers!

If you want to work in a workplace with both expertise and breadth in both emergency and planned surgical operations, you will thrive in our surgical department!

The surgical department has 10 operating rooms and the operations consist of both inpatient and day surgery, emergency and planned activities. In addition to surgery, the unit is responsible for anesthesia services and recovery units. The work is done in teams with specialist nurses in anesthesia and surgery, nursing assistants, anesthesiologists, and surgeons. We perform about 8,000 operations per year.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations are conducted around the clock. We provide service to all surgical operations at Östersund Hospital in surgery, urology, orthopedics, gynecology, and ENT.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist training in surgical nursing. We welcome applications from both experienced professionals and newly graduated nurses.

You have good collaboration skills, enjoy working in a team, and actively contribute your knowledge to a positive work environment. We value your interest in developing professionally and participating in the further development of our operations. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
