About the position: We are now looking for a driven and experienced individual for the role of Head Chef at O’Learys Umeå. As the Head Chef, you play a key role in leading the kitchen's work in an optimal and sustainable manner, focusing on economy, staff, ingredients, and working methods. You are also responsible for ensuring that all food served to our guests is of high quality and that the entire kitchen staff contributes to maintaining this standard. The role includes work during days, evenings, and weekends.

Your responsibilities also include:

• Planning and leading the kitchen's work for maximum efficiency and quality.

• Responsible for ongoing inventory and ordering of goods for the kitchen

• Creating and maintaining a positive team atmosphere in the kitchen through evaluation, quality assurance, training, and coaching.

• Responsible for food safety monitoring and maintaining contact with suppliers

Desired experience and qualities:

• Trained chef with experience as a kitchen manager, head chef, or sous chef in an à la carte restaurant.

• Has a strong interest in cooking and strives for positive results.

• Prioritizes high food quality and takes responsibility for an exceptional dining experience for guests

• Team player with the ability to create a positive atmosphere in the kitchen
