Housekeeping Manager

As Housekeeping Manager for Stora Hotellet and U&Me Hotel, you and your team are responsible for the guest's total experience with us from start to finish. This means a leadership role that requires inspiration, goal setting and follow-up, teamwork, and creativity. You are fully responsible for personnel as well as financially responsible for your department.

You will be part of the operational management for our businesses, where you, together with your colleagues from other operations, drive the larger and more overarching focus areas that we set for the whole – this to ensure a seamless experience for our guests. The Housekeeping Manager reports to the Operation Manager and the management team at Blå Huset Hotell Umeå AB.

What’s in your CV? 

To succeed in this role, we see that you are a confident leader with experience in the hotel industry. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form. Good experience working with goals and budgets.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for leading and developing the Housekeeping team and cleaning operations at Stora Hotellet and U&M Hotel.
• Overall responsibility within the area of responsibility to develop the hotels and offerings to increase customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Involved in Blå Huset's Sustainability, responsible for Green Key. 
• Responsible for Blå Huset's Clean and Tidy project 
• Ensure a good working environment and that laws, regulations, and safety standards are followed.

The position is a permanent employment that begins with a 6-month probationary period. Start date to be agreed upon.
