First and last impression!

As a receptionist, you are the first and last person the guest meets - it is up to you to ensure that our guests have the best possible experience while staying with us. This applies from booking to follow-up, from check-in to check-out, and everything in between. Our guests should feel at home, and therefore your personality and social skills are the most important - you must love meeting new people every day and be able to talk to them and provide the best possible service based on their needs.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is ready for a challenge. You are a driven and curious person who wants to develop in your career, who shares yourself and loves to work both in a team and independently. You dare to take initiative and see the small details that matter in the big picture. You are comfortable handling many things at once and are not afraid to take on several tasks simultaneously. The position requires that you are at least 20 years old, according to current legislation for serving alcohol, as we also serve alcohol. We place great importance on personality, engagement, and drive, so even if you have not worked in a hotel before - do not hesitate to apply if you believe you are our next star.

It is also advantageous if you:

- Have experience in hotel and reception work

- Have experience with the hotel system MEWS

- Have experience in other service professions, such as retail or restaurant

- Are used to working with computers, technical solutions, and systems

- Love meeting new people and taking care of their needs and wishes

- Have experience with Strawberry or Home Hotel

Your role as a receptionist:

You will be part of a team of about ten people in the reception, where we constantly work closely together to develop our operations, ourselves, and our guest service. We welcome you if you have ideas and a forward-thinking attitude, who sees opportunities instead of problems and who, together with your colleagues, wants to do everything to make our guests feel at home. Your tasks include check-in and check-out, as well as administration, customer service, answering phone calls and emails, and of course taking care of our guests on-site. We also work across departments and assist colleagues in the restaurant and cleaning departments when needed. The reception is the heart of the hotel and the spider in the web, so you are responsible for ensuring that the guest has the best possible experience and that our colleagues in other departments have the information they need to do their part.

About the position:

We are currently offering a position at 60% with immediate start or by agreement. Working hours are scheduled for a mix of daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. We are covered by the collective agreement of the Hotel and Restaurant Workers' Union, and salary will be set accordingly.
