Your new role

We are now looking for someone who wants to work operationally with purchasing in a socially important organization in Karlskrona. As an Operational Purchaser/Purchasing Assistant, you will play a central role in ensuring that the organization's daily needs for goods and services are met – quickly, accurately, and with high quality. This is an opportunity for you who enjoy structure, problem-solving, and daily contact with various functions within the organization. Your main responsibilities include:

• Monitoring deliveries, managing deviations, and acting on delayed deliveries
• Logging collection orders and calling off inventory materials
• Keeping track of stock orders and updating items with delivery times, prices, and other information
• Producing KPIs regarding delivery precision each month
• Collaborating with goods reception and escalating delivery problems as needed
• Working closely with tactical and strategic purchasers
• Updating price lists and managing supplier data

To be successful in this role, you need

• Experience in operational purchasing or work within the purchasing area
• Good understanding of purchasing flows, logistics, and inventory management
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• It is an advantage if you have relevant education in purchasing

You like to have multiple tasks in the air and work proactively to ensure timely deliveries. Your communication skills allow you to easily connect with both internal and external parties.
