Nurse for Dialysis at Södersjukhuset

About the position

At the Dialysis Unit, Södersjukhuset, we care for patients with chronic and acute kidney failure who need dialysis treatment about three times a week, averaging four hours of treatment per session.

You will work closely with other nurses, doctors, and nursing assistants, where you all collectively contribute to ensuring that the patient receives the best care. As a nurse, you are responsible for the dialysis treatment itself. The work here has periods of intensive work during the day, followed by periods of a calmer pace, where there is room for administration, personal work, and internally continuously planned lectures.

The working hours are scheduled for mornings or afternoons, Monday to Friday, where you work until 8:00 PM at the latest. You also work days every third Saturday.

• takes initiative, sees what needs to be done in a work environment with both intensive and calmer periods, and contributes to achieving the best possible care for patients
• works well in a team with nurses, doctors, and nursing assistants, is attentive and flexible, and contributes to a positive and solution-focused work environment.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse

Meritorious:

• Completed education in nephrology
• Experience in emergency care and/or experience in nephrology.
