The elderly care consists of somatic departments, dementia departments, short-term accommodation, and 4 home care groups.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a nurse/district nurse for home care in Vingåker municipality. Your main tasks will be to lead and plan the daily care work within home care and be responsible for health and medical care interventions up to the nurse level. You will perform independent assessments, medical treatments, and care interventions for our patients. You will also work preventively to maintain health and well-being. You are also responsible for care documentation according to current legislation, routines for the development and quality assurance of care work according to the organization’s management system for quality and patient safety. The position includes delegating and mentoring care staff in health and medical care interventions.

In the evenings and weekends, you will have on-call duties. Documentation is carried out in the database-based journal system Treserva.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you are also a licensed district nurse. We prefer candidates who have previously worked in home care. As a person, you have good cooperation skills, are flexible, meticulous, and responsible. As a nurse with us, we want you to be confident in your nursing role, used to working independently, and accustomed to prioritizing among your tasks.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
