At the school, we prepare and serve lunch, and we also serve breakfast and snacks, with food mostly made from scratch and using good ingredients. Responsibilities

In your daily work, you will create top-quality and climate-smart lunches, salad offerings, breakfasts, and snacks together with your colleagues in the kitchen. In addition, all tasks that occur in kitchens and restaurants are included.

We are a leading school meal municipality, which means that as the head chef, you carry a significant responsibility to inspire both staff and students towards our vision of sustainable and delicious meals. As the head chef, you will also be partially responsible for menu planning, ordering, hiring substitutes, self-checks, and actively working towards the organization's goals and results, as well as contributing to the quality development of the operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a chef's education or equivalent experience as deemed appropriate by the employer. You have many years of experience in cooking, where you may have also held a leading position with financial responsibility. We also expect you to have experience in service and self-control systems, as well as good computer skills.

It is considered an advantage if you have knowledge and experience in vegetarian food, experience from restaurant kitchens in both the public and private sectors, good knowledge of special diets, and experience with dietary software. Of course, you also have a good sense of taste.

As a person, you are creative and service-oriented, and you understand the importance of constantly being in development. As the head chef in our team, you are flexible, proactive, and have the ability to inspire others. You have a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues and understand that your engagement is crucial for our guests, their dining experience, and our development. You have the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
