About the Job:

Skafferiet consists of two kitchens. One is located in Långserud in connection

to Långserud's independent school, and the other is at Enegården's assisted living facility in Värmlands Nysäter.

We serve up to 500 portions daily, divided between the two kitchens.

Job Description:

At Skafferiet in Nysäter, we prepare about 80% of our portions, where in addition to cooking for Nysäter's school and preschool, we also deliver food to two more schools, as well as nursing homes and nearby industries. After the school children have been served, the general public is always welcome to eat with us. Here, you always work in pairs and at a fast pace to meet the day's deliveries and service.

At Skafferiet in Långserud, we prepare the remaining portions mainly for the school and preschool students at "Mörtens", but also for the Smedgården nursing home, which is located a stone's throw from the kitchen, and here too, the village residents or passers-by are always welcome to eat. In Långserud, the pace is a bit slower and you work alone.

You alternate between the kitchens, two weeks in Nysäter and then one week in Långserud. The position also includes cleaning and food delivery, so a B driver's license is a must.

Our Philosophy:

We want to show that it is possible to cook good school food from scratch using locally produced ingredients from farms and forests around Långserud and Nysäter. Here, we put our guests and food at the center and we always strive to evolve!
