Överkalix Municipality, Medical Team is looking for a qualified occupational therapist for a developing and valuable job.

Description:

Occupational Therapist, full-time, daytime. Permanent position. Start date by agreement.

Responsibilities:

As an occupational therapist in Överkalix Municipality, you will be part of the medical team consisting of licensed personnel - nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants.

The occupational therapist's area of responsibility includes open health and medical care in the home and the municipality's special accommodations, in group and service housing, as well as daily activities within LSS.

We are looking for an occupational therapist who has an interest and commitment to work with rehabilitation and perform health and medical care interventions for individuals within the municipality's area of responsibility.

As an occupational therapist, you will guide and support individuals, relatives, and staff in rehabilitation issues. You initiate treatment and training that develops, recovers, and maintains the functional ability of the individual. You are responsible for the assessment and prescription of technical aids, assessments for housing adaptations, and to the social care committee's activities as needed.

Qualifications:

Licensed occupational therapist.

Experience working in municipal operations is an advantage. You should have good collaboration skills and be flexible. You should be able to work independently and take your own initiatives and decisions. We document in the operational system Pulsen Combine.

Coordinated planning takes place in Lifecare SP.

Requirement to express the Swedish language well in both speech and writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. A B driver's license is required.
