Are you a driven speech therapist with experience in assessments of dyslexia and dyscalculia? Then you might be our new star!

Svea KBT in collaboration with Elly Care is a rapidly growing organization where each employee plays a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support for our patients. We are now looking for someone who wants to help build our work with dyslexia and dyscalculia assessments from the ground up – a unique opportunity for you who want to take a leading role in shaping the future support for children, adolescents, and adults with learning difficulties!

About the position

In the role of speech therapist with us, you will be a key person responsible for starting up, conducting, developing, and ensuring the quality of our work with assessments of dyslexia and dyscalculia. You will work closely with psychologists, psychiatrists, and nurses to create a broad and cohesive support system for our patients.

The work is varied and includes everything from conducting assessments and evaluations to leading training sessions and informing about learning difficulties both internally and externally. The role also involves contributing to the implementation of evidence-based practices and serving as a bridge between different departments to ensure that each patient receives a comprehensive assessment and appropriate interventions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Conduct dyslexia and dyscalculia assessments and create clear and pedagogical reports.
  • Develop routines and guidelines for the assessment process and ensure high quality.
  • Be a knowledge resource in learning difficulties and contribute expertise to colleagues and patients.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other professionals within the organization to create a comprehensive picture of the patient's needs.
  • Contribute to spreading knowledge about dyslexia and dyscalculia by holding workshops, lectures, and training sessions.
  • Evaluate and improve working methods through analysis of statistics and patient flows.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a licensed speech therapist with experience in assessing reading, writing, and arithmetic difficulties.
  • Has knowledge of diagnostic tools and testing methods for dyslexia and dyscalculia.
  • Is confident in the role of expert and educator, with the ability to communicate clearly with both patients and colleagues.
  • Has experience working in teams and preferably in driving projects or development work.
  • Is structured and solution-oriented, with an eye for detail and quality assurance.
  • Is positive, proactive, and enjoys working in an environment where a lot is happening and where you have significant responsibility.

As a person, you are:

  • Engaged and proactive – you see opportunities where others see challenges.
  • Communicative and collaborative – you enjoy sharing knowledge and building relationships.
  • Self-driven and solution-oriented – you have no problem taking your own initiatives and driving projects from start to finish.
  • Someone who genuinely wants to help and be part of a company where we do everything we can for our patients and constantly create new ways to help.

We offer:

  • An opportunity to build and shape a new part of the organization with significant impact.
  • A dynamic work environment where you will work with engaged and competent colleagues.
  • The opportunity to develop in a role that includes both strategic and operational work.
  • Great freedom to influence your workdays and your role within the organization.
  • Fun joint activities such as breakfasts, after-work events, kick-offs, and conferences.
  • A workplace where ideas and initiatives are welcomed, and where we support each other to develop both individually and as a team.
  • Work in a nice reception at an attractive address and meet highly motivated patients.

Recruitment status:

We are recruiting continuously and hope to fill the position as soon as we find the right candidate, so do not wait to submit your application – interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

Warm welcome to apply and become part of our dedicated team!
