We are looking for someone who wants to provide guests with an exceptional experience. The job involves participating in improvements within the restaurant, focusing on aspects such as scheduling and product development. There are also tasks that focus on staff, planning, and of course, raw materials and beverages.

Fjällnäs, Sweden's oldest mountain hotel, is an exclusive sanctuary where one can experience the constant and dramatic changes of nature up close. Throughout eight different seasons, we live with the untouched wilderness right outside the doorstep.

Fjällnäs offers a total of 41 rooms and 93 beds distributed across 6 buildings, all connected to Fjällnäs's main building, Näset. In Näset, we have our lounges and our restaurant where we serve breakfast, lunch, and the Fjällnäs Dinner Menu. We blend modern cuisine with the flavors of the mountains, allowing the ingredients to take center stage. We always seek high quality, preferably from local producers and ideally organic, to create a Nordic kitchen with traditions.

We are looking for someone with qualifications and experiences such as:

We would like you to have a couple of years of experience in roles similar to Head Waiter.

Education or documented experience in beverage knowledge is a plus.

A good ability and experience to work operationally in a restaurant during both high and low seasons.

Structured mindset, good administrative skills, and a willingness to support colleagues.

Interest in guests and the ability to work positively with upselling.

In a relaxed environment, right by the shore of Lake Malmagen, we serve breakfast, lunch, and the Fjällnäs Dinner Menu - a three-course menu. We blend modern cuisine with the flavors of the mountains, allowing the ingredients to take center stage. At Fjällnäs, we want beverages to be an integral part of the experience, with most drinks coming from people who grow and produce their products sustainably and organically.

We serve breakfast, lunch, our fixed three-course dinner, and coffee breaks. Weddings, parties, and various themed dinners occur throughout the year.

Employment will begin as soon as possible. Staff accommodation can be arranged.
