Experienced Sales-oriented Bicycle Mechanic with Personnel Responsibility Wanted!

Cykelimperiet - Staffanstorps Cykelaffär AB was founded in 1996 and is today one of the country's largest retailers of quality bicycles and accessories from Crescent, Monark, Sjösala, and Skeppshult. We sell a wide range of bicycle accessories and quality bicycles.

At our store, you will find all types of models - mountain bikes, city bikes, hybrid bikes, racing bikes, MTB bikes, standard bikes, electric bikes, and much more. In addition to bicycles, we also sell a range of other products in the cycling world such as bike helmets, bike trailers, tricycles, unicycles, kick scooters, and much more.

We also stock all commonly needed spare parts for bicycles. In our store, there is also a well-known bicycle workshop where we can repair and service most bicycles on the market.

You must have at least 2 years of experience as a bicycle mechanic with personnel responsibility.

You have a great passion for cycling and good knowledge of working with regular foot-braked bicycles, electric bicycles, MTBs, and road bikes.

If you have Shimano service center training and/or Bosch training, it is a big plus.

You are meticulous and friendly, enjoy providing excellent service, are self-driven, and easily take your own initiatives and decisions.

You can follow instructions and take pride in exceeding expectations.

The work pace is very high at times, which requires you to handle stressful situations.

The tasks are very varied with a focus on assemblies, repairs, picking/packing orders, welcoming customers and sales. Personnel responsibility where you will ensure that there is sufficient staff during opening hours, receive and report sick leave and absences, plan and go through what needs to be done each day, and assign tasks to staff. Ensure that the store, warehouse, and basement are in order and that all laws and regulations are followed.

You will work in a cheerful team that has fun and gets along well. We provide ongoing training in both product range and workshop work.

We are one of the few stores certified as a Shimano service center and bike fitting center, Bosch service center, Thule service center, and Cycleurope service center (Monark, Crescent, Tec, and Spectra) and specially trained for service and repairs on several well-known brands.

The store is open every weekday from 9-18 and Saturdays from 9-14. Scheduled working hours that also include some Saturdays.

You must be fluent in Swedish both verbally and in writing. English is a merit but not a requirement.
