We at Sysav are now looking for a dedicated Operations Technician for the Bioenergy unit, who will be part of an operations team of five people. Here we work together to receive and process food waste, which we convert into liquid biomass – the facility's end product. This biomass is then sent to external facilities where it is converted into biogas and biofertilizer. The residual product goes to Sysav's waste-to-energy plant where it is turned into electricity and heat.

As an Operations Technician at Sysav, your tasks will include:

Responsible for the daily operations at the facility.
Control and monitor the facility's flows and manage planning and decision-making from the control room.
Conduct risk assessments and manage work orders.
Contact with contractors.
Responsible for control, troubleshooting, and action management.
Control and logistics.
Forklift operation.
Documentation management.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience as an Operations Technician or in a similar technical role, where you have had the opportunity to develop your technical skills and problem-solving abilities. You have worked with the operation and maintenance of facilities or systems and have a good understanding of processes and technical flows. You have experience in monitoring and optimizing operations, handling troubleshooting and actions, as well as conducting safety checks.

You are someone who can quickly identify and solve problems, even in stressful situations. Your good prioritization skills mean you know what is most important to address and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously without losing focus. Being meticulous, responsible, and structured is in your nature, allowing you to manage tasks effectively even under pressure.

As a person, you enjoy working both independently and in a team, and you easily take the initiative to drive work forward. You are communicative and enjoy collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Scope: Full-time
Location: Malmö
Working hours: Three-week schedule: 6:00-14:30, 7:00-15:30, and 10:00-18:30. Working hours may change in the long term.
