Network Technician in Arboga

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a network technician in Arboga. In this role, you will work on several projects involving systems in secure communication and radio systems. We are looking for someone who is passionate about IT, has a genuine interest in technology, and knowledge of network technology.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a network technician, you will work on several projects involving systems in secure communication and radio systems. We are looking for someone who has a knack for building relationships with customers, is proactive in their approach to work, and is driven by solving problems. You will work in small teams with an open and friendly atmosphere. At the beginning of your assignment, you will receive guidance from more senior colleagues.

Responsibilities

Work on network architecture
Manage layers of networks, routers, and firewalls
Work on systems in secure communication and radio systems

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

Has post-secondary education in network technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish as daily communication primarily takes place in Swedish
Has a B driver's license as travel is required for the position
Has Swedish citizenship, as the position is classified as security-sensitive

It is meritorious if you have

Prior work experience as a network technician
Previous experience in the defense industry
Experience and knowledge of Cisco routers, virtualization, and VPN
Knowledge of Linux
Interest in working with hardware
