System Administrator for HR and Payroll Systems

Job Responsibilities

As a system administrator, you play a central role in ensuring that our HR, payroll, and personnel management system strikes a good balance between technical solutions and user-friendliness for smooth and efficient operation. You will be part of a team that works together to keep the system updated, solve problems that arise, and assist users in the best possible way. Development will also be part of your responsibilities, where you may lead projects or participate in projects to make the system even better. Development work is done in collaboration with our users, employees, system supplier, and IT department. We work according to the pm3 system management model. The assignment also includes supplier contacts and networking with other regions.

About the Workplace

HR System Support is placed directly under the HR Director. We belong to the Center for HR, which is part of the Administration Regional Office in Region Västmanland.

The Center for HR's overall goal is to drive and develop digitalization within HR. We provide system support related to HR issues and continuously develop and deliver digital HR services based on the business needs. Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a documented high school diploma and experience in work within system administration and system management. Since you will communicate in both speech and writing, we require good knowledge of Swedish. We consider it highly meritorious if you have a university education in system science or equivalent and experience in working with system administration and system management for HR and payroll systems. Experience in working with SQL, programming skills, and an understanding of database structure are also advantageous.

We are looking for someone who is curious, motivated, and has an interest in system management within the HR area. You are clear in your communication and have the interest, desire, and ability to help others. In collaboration with others, both internally and externally, you contribute to a constructive working climate and good working environment through your ability to relate to others in a receptive and smooth manner. This job is for someone who can plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently and who can easily adapt to changed conditions. You have perseverance in your work and are attracted to finding solutions to problems together with colleagues.

The position is located in Västerås with opportunities for partial remote work when the business allows
