Kumla Health Center is a large health center, located a few miles outside Örebro. The health center has approximately 24,000 listed patients. The operations consist of district physicians and district nurse reception, maternity and child health care, physiotherapy, rehabilitation coordination, laboratory, psychosocial resources, dietitian, and medical care administrators. Here you will find competent and experienced colleagues, and we have a good collaboration between professional groups. We have a good atmosphere in the workplace and constantly work to achieve good quality and satisfied patients.

In 2025, we will move into our newly built health center. This will give us new opportunities for our operations and work methods. During the process, we will work to improve our workflows and find new efficient ways of working.

District Physician at Kumla Health Center

Responsibilities

• Standard examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in primary care.
• Preventive health care and counseling.
• Documentation and follow-up of patients.
• Collaborate with other staff to create a team-based care.
• External collaboration with other actors such as specialist care.
• Interest in educating future colleagues such as students and trainee physicians.

Qualifications

• We are looking for someone who is a district physician or geriatrician.
• Experience in primary care.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Good communication skills and experience working in interdisciplinary teams.
