BjäreFågel is looking for individuals who want to educate themselves within the food industry.

The family business Bjärefågel in Torekow AB was founded in 1986 and has existed in its current form since 2000. The product is called Bjärekyckling. From the very beginning, the focus has been on creating an additive-free chicken raised in a sustainable way. Bjärekyckling is also Sweden's only climate-certified chicken. The chickens eat a completely vegetable-based, GMO-free corn feed that is largely locally produced. The birds grow slowly and have plenty of room to move around. In collaboration with the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) and the educational provider Astar, we offer a 16-week recruitment training program starting in February and ending in June 2025. The training includes theoretical and practical elements.

Upon successful completion of the training, you will be offered a temporary employment with the possibility of extension.

The work is carried out in an industrial environment. Working with slaughter, cleaning, and butchering may not be suitable for everyone. If you find it uncomfortable to witness euthanasia or are sensitive to seeing blood, then this job is not for you.

You must be at least 18 years old and not afraid to work with your body and hands. You will also work with machines where we lift crates. The training is provided by Astar over 16 weeks, but you should have good physical fitness to cope with the work.

The recruitment training is full-time and is aimed at individuals who:

• are completely unemployed and registered with the Swedish Public Employment Service
• can speak and understand Swedish in work situations and in everyday life. This is an absolute requirement for the safety of you and your colleagues
• have a driver's license and access to a car to get to the workplace. Public transportation does not align with the working hours.
