Hospitals in the West are looking for ambulance nurses in Kungälv and Alingsås

The Hospitals in the West is an administration within the Västra Götalandsregionen and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Approximately 3000 employees work with us every day to provide good and safe specialist healthcare of the highest quality.

Description

The ambulance operations in Kungälv consist of four ambulance stations, Ale, Kungälv, Stenungsund, and Tjörn, as well as a unit for non-emergency patient transport. Within the ambulance operations, 53 permanent employees work.

The ambulance operations in Alingsås consist of two ambulance stations, Alingsås and Lerum. Approximately 45 permanent employees work within the ambulance operations.

Job Responsibilities

As an ambulance nurse, you have an active role in planning, executing, and taking responsibility for tasks within ambulance healthcare based on the Health and Medical Services Act, the Patient Safety Act, and directives from the chief ambulance physician. The ambulance nurse should, from an ethical standpoint, contribute to good patient care, good patient care, and a good work environment.

Introduction training starts on 25-05-01.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a nurse with further education in ambulance healthcare, you should have training in and experience of emergency driving. A driver's license with at least C1 authorization is a requirement. Good local knowledge within the respective ambulance districts is highly meritorious.

You should have practical experience in ambulance healthcare and good physical ability as we conduct physical tests. We will attach great importance to personal suitability where flexibility and the ability to work independently are important elements.

Test days for Kungälv on 25-01-21 and 25-02-27. Test days for Alingsås on 25-01-13 and 25-01-22.

Type of Employment

Temporary employment until 2025-08-31 with the possibility of extension.
