Maintenance Technician for the Aid Center in Skövde

The Supply Management is a department within the Västra Götaland Region. The operations are conducted throughout Västra Götaland with a focus on supply and logistics for the region's various activities. We develop and deliver services in meals, laundry, pharmaceutical products, aids, as well as stock and distribute products.

We are now looking for a Maintenance Technician to our Aid Center in Skövde within the Supply Management in Västra Götaland Region.

About the Position

Your work as a technician in maintenance at the Aid Center is about patient safety and good service. You contribute with your ability to collaborate and technical competence to provide our customers with aids.

repair, maintenance, and adaptation of manual and electric aids such as walkers, wheelchairs, lifting devices, and possibly electric wheelchairs
inspections and preventive maintenance of aids
documentation, orders, and other administration are natural parts of the assignment
work is mostly done in the field or in the workshop in collaboration with customers, patients, and colleagues
on-call duty is included in the position

To succeed in the role as a technician, you need to:

have a good approach and be service-oriented
work well with others
enjoy adapting to changing situations
be responsible and meticulous to ensure quality and high safety
have good technical skills

You have a technical high school education or another high school education that, together with work experience, provides equivalent technical knowledge. Your computer skills are good, and you communicate well in Swedish. A B driver's license and good driving skills are required. You have good physical ability and an ergonomic work approach, as the work may involve heavy lifting.

Experience with the Sesam 2 business system and knowledge of electricity are advantageous.

About the Aid Center

The Aid Center is part of the Supply Management within the Västra Götaland Region and is a competence and logistics center for the 49 municipalities, as well as the region's own activities. We are located in Borås, Mölndal, Skövde, and Uddevalla.

Our services are based on the healthcare providers' needs for both in-depth knowledge in the aids area and various service services to support the care chain.
