System Specialist with a focus on IT infrastructure for Secure IT Solutions

Job Description

Trafikverket operates one of Sweden's most advanced and extensive IT operations, where many of our services are crucial for society's functioning. This entails exciting challenges and high demands on our IT environments.

We are now looking for a system specialist with a focus on IT infrastructure who wants to be part of creating something new! You will have the opportunity to build a completely new team responsible for the operation, management, and development of IT environments critical for security protection.

In this role, you will be part of our security department and have a central position in ensuring the operation of Trafikverket - even in crisis and wartime situations. Here, you can truly make a difference!

Your main tasks include:

• Preliminary studies, projects, and assignments aimed at developing our secure IT environments
• Support for the ongoing work with the operation and system maintenance of IT infrastructure
• Advanced troubleshooting and error correction
• Responsible for system testing before implementation
• Planning and support for lifecycle management
• Documentation of system solutions

Qualifications

Who are you?

To succeed in the role, you need good analytical skills and enjoy finding sustainable solutions. You will have a significant influence on the work with the infrastructure for our platforms, which requires the ability to take initiative, plan, structure, and communicate with colleagues and stakeholders. We prefer if you have had titles such as system engineer, system specialist, or solution architect on your CV.

Your work will be governed by several legal requirements and regulations, which place high demands on you as an individual. Therefore, we see that you are structured, calm, and have a high security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree of at least 180 credits (120) with a focus on IT. Alternatively, you have another education combined with recent experience that we consider equivalent
• has several years of professional experience in IT operations or IT management
• has current experience or expertise in virtualization platforms
• has current experience or expertise in network technology (Describe how you have worked with this or acquired competence in the area, also indicate when)
• has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• has a valid driver's license for a passenger car

It is advantageous if you

• have education in signal protection
• have experience in project management
• have deep knowledge of WMware
• have deep knowledge of Linux
• have deep expertise in Windows Server
• have knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
