Summer Substitutes for Group Homes and Service Residences within LSS and Social Psychiatry

Degerfors is an industrial municipality with approximately 10,000 inhabitants. The municipality is located in the beautiful borderland between Värmland and Örebro County where forested areas meet plains. Degerfors is part of the southwestern extension of Bergslagen and belongs to Örebro County but is situated in the two provinces of Värmland and Närke. The employer Degerfors municipality has about 700 employees, distributed among four administrations.

Job Duties:

• Provide individual support, care, and assistance based on the needs and wishes of the users.
• Create security and participation for the residents through a respectful and professional approach.
• Administer medication delegated by a nurse.
• Participate in activities and contribute to creating an active and meaningful daily life for the users.

Qualifications:

• Flexible, responsible, and have good teamwork skills.
• Be able to work daytime, evenings, weekends, and occasionally nights.
• Experience in working with functional support.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Basic computer skills for documentation.
