Summer Substitutes in Elderly Care in Degerfors Municipality

Degerfors is an industrial municipality with approximately 10,000 inhabitants located in the borderland between Värmland and Örebro County. The municipality offers a safe and scenic work environment with a focus on care and well-being. Degerfors municipality is now looking for dedicated summer substitutes for home care and special housing within elderly care. As a summer substitute, you will provide care and support to elderly residents, assist with personal care, and create a meaningful daily life. We are looking for individuals who are flexible, responsible, and have experience in elderly care or similar areas. Applications are made through Public Job.

Job Duties:

• Provide individually tailored care and support to users
• Assist with personal care, cooking, cleaning, etc.
• Create security and well-being through professional interaction
• Handle medication as delegated by a nurse
• Support users in activities for a meaningful daily life

Qualifications:

• Flexible, responsible, and good teamwork skills
• Experience in elderly care or similar areas
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic computer skills for documentation

Education as a nursing assistant is advantageous. Personal qualities such as initiative, security, and empathy are valued. No applications via email.
