Vacant position: Environmental Engineer at Borlänge Energi

We are about 300 employees and our units are organized in business areas: Power and Heat, Electricity Grid and City Network, Water Services, Recycling, and Urban Environment. Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to development and lead investigations, analyses, and projects in the environmental and plant engineering area, both regarding economic and environmental improvements within the power and district heating operations
  • Be an important part of and support long-term plant planning and production optimization within the power and district heating operations
  • Environmental and climate reporting and follow-up within the power and district heating operations
  • Lead work on environmental and plant-related supervision from external control bodies
  • Tax and incentive issues and environmental and plant engineering area monitoring
  • Contribute to work on emission rights trading

YOUR PROFILE

You have post-secondary education or equivalent experience from working life that the employer deems equivalent. We prefer that you have good experience from similar assignments but feel ready for new challenges with us.

A present and communicative work style are qualities we value together with the ability to establish good relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.

As a person, you are driven to deliver results that contribute to the organization reaching its goals and creating value. You work efficiently and persistently to achieve goals and pay attention to difficulties and solutions.
